# Landing page checklist.

Metagon Growth Starter Kit · file 3 of 7

A page has one job. Before you pay to send people to it, it has to pass every check below.

Tick a box only after you've checked it on a phone. "I think it's fine" doesn't count.

---

## 1 · One job.

- [ ] The page has one goal: book, buy or ask. Write it down: ____________________
- [ ] There is one main button, and its words say what happens next ("book a fitting", not "submit").
- [ ] Nothing on the page pulls people away from that goal: no links to other offers, no menu people don't need here.
- [ ] The page continues the ad: same offer, same words, same kind of picture. Someone who clicked knows at once they
      are in the right place.

## 2 · The first screen, on a phone.

- [ ] Without scrolling, a stranger can tell what this is, who it's for and what to do next.
- [ ] The headline uses your customers' words, not the words you use inside the business.
- [ ] The main button is visible without scrolling.
- [ ] The picture shows the real thing: the product, the place, the people doing the work. No stock photo pretending
      to be you.

## 3 · Questions answered.

- [ ] The five questions people ask most before buying are answered on the page. Take them from your inbox, calls and
      chats, not from your head.
- [ ] The price is clear. If you can't show one, the page says what it depends on.
- [ ] The page explains what happens after the click: what they get, when, and from whom.
- [ ] The biggest worry gets an honest answer, whether it's cost, time, risk or effort.

## 4 · Proof.

- [ ] Every claim on the page is true, and you can show where it comes from.
- [ ] Reviews and quotes are real, used with permission, and not edited to say something new.
- [ ] Every number has a source and a date.
- [ ] In regulated fields such as health, finance and law, a qualified person has checked the wording.

## 5 · The form or checkout.

- [ ] It asks only for what you really need. Every extra field is one more reason to stop.
- [ ] It works on a phone with one thumb.
- [ ] Error messages say exactly what to fix.
- [ ] After sending, people see what happens next and receive a confirmation.
- [ ] You've sent a real test request or order yourself, start to finish, and it arrived where it should.

## 6 · Speed and basics.

- [ ] The page loads quickly on mobile data, not only on the office wifi. Try it on a phone away from the office.
- [ ] Text is readable without zooming. Buttons are big enough to tap.
- [ ] It works on the phones your customers use. Check at least one iPhone and one Android phone.
- [ ] The legal pages are linked: your imprint where the law asks for one, your privacy policy, and your terms if you
      sell online.
- [ ] The consent banner works, and the page still works when someone says no.

## 7 · Counting.

- [ ] The page's goal is counted (the booking, the order, the request), not only the visit.
- [ ] You've done a test action and seen it arrive where you read your numbers. File 4 shows how.
- [ ] The links in your ads carry campaign tags, so you can tell which ad sent which visitor.

## The ten-second test.

Hand your phone to someone who doesn't know the business. Give them ten seconds on the page. Then ask three questions:
what is this, who is it for, and what would you do next?

Three clear answers: the page is ready for ads. Anything less: fix the first screen first.
